Kelly Young began his journey in the trades at the age of 16, working alongside his father and grandfather, both veterans of the heating industry since 1950. In 1997, at the age of 20, Kelly formally entered the plumbing trade, marking 27 years of experience in the industry as of 2024.

Throughout his career, Kelly has worked in all facets of the mechanical contracting industry, including industrial applications, service work, boilers, and controls. He has also held key leadership roles such as estimator, service manager, and managing partner. Driven by a passion for innovation and excellence, Kelly decided to take the leap in 2017, founding Fountainhead Mechanical with his business partner, Bob Henry. Since its inception, Fountainhead Mechanical has become known for its innovative and technologically advanced approach, setting new standards in the mechanical contracting industry.

Kelly’s dedication to advancing the industry fuels his commitment to leading Fountainhead Mechanical to new heights, while fostering trust, integrity, and superior craftsmanship.

Teresa started accounting for a plumbing company in 1987 working in a small family bookkeeping business. By the year 2000 it had become apparent that Teresa had found her people. With brief forays into Private Equity and Restaurants, she solidified her belief that the future lays in the mechanical trades.

Joining Fountainhead Mechanical in 2021 was one of the best career decisions Teresa has ever made. Being part of a small startup company that has become an industry leader has been invigorating.  Bringing the office chaos under order is a daily challenge, akin to herding cats.

Teresa has a solid foundation in bookkeeping and payroll and has now expanded into office management.

With 20 years of experience in plumbing and gasfitting, Carson has built a career that reflects his deep passion for the trade and his unwavering commitment to those he works with. Starting as the first full-time journeyman at Fountainhead Mechanical, Carson’s journey to Estimations and Projects Division Manager is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and genuine love for what he does.

Carson is not just a leader—he’s a mentor and a teammate. He thrives on creating a supportive, collaborative environment where everyone feels empowered to learn, grow, and succeed. His knack for breaking down complex projects and guiding his team through challenges makes him not only a skilled manager but also a source of confidence and encouragement for those around him.

Mark Macintosh is the Division HVAC Service Manager at Fountainhead Mechanical, bringing over 20 years of combined experience as a Master Electrician and Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic. Mark’s exceptional technical expertise and leadership have been pivotal in shaping the success of the company’s HVAC/R division.

Joining Fountainhead Mechanical as its first full-time HVAC/R technician, Mark quickly demonstrated his commitment to excellence and ability to lead. His rapid progression from Field Supervisor to Estimator, and ultimately to overseeing the HVAC/R department as Service Manager, reflects his dedication and ability to deliver results.

Mark’s leadership philosophy is rooted in positivity, living by the mantra Positive People, Quality Service fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, he ensures the highest level of service is delivered to clients while empowering his team to achieve their full potential.

With over 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry, Mark Unterwiener has advanced through various roles, from apprentice to Boiler Technician, Supervisor, and now Service Manager.

His career is built on a foundation of integrity, empathy, safety, and communication—values he believes are crucial to delivering top-tier service and fostering strong team dynamics.

Outside of work, Mark is passionate about intarsia woodworking, camping, and traveling, finding inspiration and relaxation in his creative pursuits and outdoor adventures.
